Shirley A. Whitley
Mrs. Shirley A. Whitley of Glennville died Sunday,December13,1998,at her 
residence. She was 62.	
Mrs. Whitley was born May 18, 1936, in Fitzgerald, the daughter of Elbert Paul 
and Rosa Lee Young PauL She was a homemaker and retired owner of a day care 
center. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Irwin ,County.. .
	, Mrs. Whitley had lived in Glennville since 1981 moving from 
Fitzgerald. She was a former sales lady with Allied Department 	Store and R C. 
Moore's Department Store. Mrs. Whitley was always active in the P.T.A. and Band 
Boosters. She was a member  of the Glennville Garden Club. Mrs. Whitley was a 
former member of the Northside Baptist Church of Fitzgerald.
Survivors include her husband, Carroll Whitley of Glennville; two sons Randy 
Hogan of Moncks Corner, SC and Robby Keeler of DeBary, FL; ,six grandchildren 
and one great granddaughter; parents, Elbert and Rosa Lee Paul of Fitzgerald; 
two brothers, Edwin Paul and Robert Paul, both of Fitzgerald; two sisters, Pat 
Ray and Betty Hall, both of Fitzgerald.
Services will be held at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel of Fitzgerald on 
Wednesday, ,December 16, at 2 p.m., with Rev. David Fisher and Rev. James 
Hubbard officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery of Fitzgerald.
Paulk Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
