Clark The funeral service for Lawrence H. "L. H." Clark of Fitzgerald, who died Saturday, February 14, 1998 at Dorminy Medical Center, was held Sunday, February 15 at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. He was 63. Rev. Keith Maxwell officiated at the 3:00 p.m. service wit;h interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hoke Rutherford, Sr., Howell Ball, J. R. Ellis, Billy Brown, Larry Young, W. L. Futch, Allen Dixon. Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Bass, Leonard Smith, J. B. Smith, Harold Brickle, Ward King. Pianist was Donna Maxwell; singers, Nita Brown and Rufus Matthews. The deceased was born December 15, 1934 in Wheeler County, GA to Hurley and Bessie Clark. A member of Fitzgerald Church of God and a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Era, Mr. Clark had lived in the community since 1945. He was a former loom fixer at Fitzgerald Mills and a supervisor at Industrial Plastics. He is survived by wife, Yvonne P. Clark of Fitzgerald; two sons: Jed Clark and Jeffery Clark, both of Fitzgerald; one daughter: Jennifer C. Revels of Fitzgerald; two brothers: Jimmy Clark and Tommie Clark, both of Fitzgerald; one sister: Angie C. Hays of Fitzgerald; 5 grandchildren.
