Franklin Peterson
The funeral service for Franklin R. Peterson of Fitzgerald, who died Tuesday, 
February 10, 1998 at his residence, was a private service. He was 64.
The deceased was born February 24, 1933 in Colquitt County to William and 
Minnie Belle Durley Peterson. A farmer and truck driver for Ross Concrete Co., 
he attended Salem Baptist Church in Ben Hill County. Mr. Peterson had lived in 
the community most his life. He farmed with Hulan Reeves and was a former 
employee of Hugh D. Taylor and The Concrete Company.
He is survived by wife, Helen G. Peterson of Fitzgerald; three daughters: 
Dorothy Peterson of Fitzgerald, Donna Lother of Sylvester and Debra Peterson of 
Ty Ty; one son: Dennis
Peterson of Fitzgerald; two brothers: Arnold Adkinson and Jack Adkinson, both 
of Fitzgerald; one sister: Mary Lynn of Fitzgerald; 7 grandchildren.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
