I.F. McCrimmon

  Mr. I.F "Freddie'' McCrimmon, 57, of Fitzgerald (Irwinville Community), 
passed away Tuesday, February 11, 1997 at Palemon Gaskins Nursing Home.
  Mr. McCrimmon was born December 20, 1939 in Miami, FL,  and lived in the 
community since 1960. He was the son of Charles C. and Evie Mae Laminack 
McCrimmon.
  He was retired from Shaw Industries in Fitzgerald and attended the Methodist 
Church in Irwinville.
 Survivors include two brothers,Wayne McCrimmon and James A.McCrimmon, both of 
Irwinville,one niece, one nephew, aunts,uncles and cousins. 
He was preceded in death by a twin brother,Lewis Ted McCrimmon and a sister, 
Gerolyn McCrimmon.
 Funeral services were held Thursday, February 13, 1997 at11:00 a.m. at Paulk 
Funeral Home chapel in Fitzgerald, with Rev.James Griffin and Rev. Ed Reeves 
officiating.
 Special music was provided by Judy Griffin, accompanied by Ann Martin.
 Interment followed at Big Creek Cemetery, Irwin County, GA.
 Pallbearers were W.C. McCook,Jack McCrimmon, Mitch McCrimmon, Sam Evens, 
Stanley Evans and Jamie Evans.
 Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
