 Donna Young

The funeral service for Donna Couey Young of Rebecca, who died Sunday, 
February.l6, 1997 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, was heId Tuesday, 
February 18 at Rebecca Baptist Church. She was 45.
Rev. Jim Wiley, Rev. Charles Underwood and Chaplain Walter Davis officiated at 
the 2:00 p.m. service with interment in Young Cemetery, Ben Hill county.
The deceased was born October 30, 1951 in Macon, GA to Wallace and Betty Avery 
Couey. Rebecca Post Office Postmaster and homemaker, Mrs. Young was a member of
Rebecca Baptist Church and had lived in Rebecca for the past 20 years. She 
served as pianist for the church and was a member of the National Association 
of Postmasters. 
 She is survived by her husband David Young, one son: Marty Young; two 
daughters: Amy Gayle Young and Kim Young, all of Rebecca; parents:Wallace and 
Betty Couey of Glenwood; a sister: Terri Boiling of Atlanta.
 Paulk Funeral Home of Fitzgerald was in charge of arrangements.
