Mildred M. Adams

Mrs. Mildred Minshew Adams of Rebecca died Sunday, February 22, 1998 at Tift 
General Hospital. She was 75.
Mrs. Adams was born August 22,1922 in Ben Hill county, the daughter of George 
J. and Leatha Luke Minshew. She had lived in the Rebecca community since 1949. 
She was a former licensed cosmetologist and a graduate of Mystic High School. 
She was a member of Rebecca Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil E. Adams, Sr. of Rebecca; one son, Cecil 
E. Adams, Jr. of Fitzgerald; two daughters, Ann Adams Rodriguez of Rebecca and 
Mary Lois Adams of Kansas. City, I MO; two sisters, Inez McWhorter  of Rochelle 
and Annette Bridges of  Riverdale; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 
several nieces and  nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 24 at 2 p.m. at Paulk  Funeral 
Home Chapel in Fitzgerald  with Rev. Charles Underwood and  Rev. Jerry Wilson 
officiating.
Interment was in Luke Cemetery  in Ben Hill county.
 Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
