R. (Dick) Kaminsky Mr. H. R. (Dick) Kaminsky of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, July 12,1998 at home. He was 90 . Mr. Kaminsky was born February 7, 1908 in New York, NY, the son of Tevya Kaminsky and Mary Polansky. Mr. Kaminsky was the founder of H. R. Kaminsky & Sons, Inc. (a national apparel company). He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Cohen Kaminsky. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Tavin and Malissa Kaminsky of Venice, FL., Larry Kaminsky of Fitzgerald and Penson and Claudia Kaminsky of Fitzgerald; sister, Matty Wynn of Coram, NY and seven grandchildren. Services were held at Fitzgerald Hebrew Congregation Synagogue on Tuesday, July 14, 1998 at 11a.m., with Rabbi Loren Sykes officiating. Music was provided by soloist Rev. Isaac Goodfriend. The eulogy was given by Charles Harris and Mayor Gerald Thompson. Pallbearers were Tommy Dampier, Ira Lavinsky, Jerry Heller,Ivan Millender,Thurman Ellis, Darren Kaminsky, Greg Kaminsky, George Kaminsky and Dr. Charles Durden. Honorary Pallbearers were J.B. Rodwell,Charles Harris,Dr. T. Williams Hayes, Dr. Wayne Maris, Hugh Roberts, Emory Walter,Paul Branch, Mayor Gerald Thompson, Ben Mills and Bobby Chasteen. Interment was held at Fitzgerald Hebrew Congregation Cemetery.. Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
