The Nashville Herald October 21, 1904
	Milltown, Ga., Oct. 20. – A.C. Strong, a negro turpentine hand working 
for W.D. Brown’s place near Ray’s Mill, was shot and killed by another negro 
in Gress’s Quarters at this place Saturday night.  The trouble arose over a 
woman.  Strong was shot through the heart and died in a short time.
