Feb 22, 1889. Berrien sheriff sales for April. Sparks, Ga. Vol. 1, No. 19, Pg. 3. BERRIEN SHERIFF SALES FOR APRIL. GEORGIA – Berrien County Will be sold before the courthouse door, in the town of Nashville, said state and county, between the usual hours of sale on the first Tuesday in April next, the following property, to-wit; Parts of lots of land numbers 424, 423, and 465, described as follows: commencing on the west end of Ray’s milldam and running thence in a westerly direction to the east line of William Gaskin’s land, thence due north along said Gaskin’s land to the original north line of said lots 421 and 423, thence due east along said original line to a pond drain running in to Rays mill-pond, thence along said drain to the mill pond, thence following the margin of said pond to the commencing point, except house and lot owned by H.H. Knight, and water privileges of mill pond, all in the 10th district of said county, and containing two-hundred acres, more or less. Levied on as the property of James D. Ray to satisfy to Attachment Fi. Fas. Issued from the Justices’ Court of the 1144th district G. M., of said state and county, in favor of Strickland & Roberts against said James D. Ray. Levy made and returned to me by Constable, this February 2, 1889. Also, at the same time and place, one steam engine (12 H. P.), and boiler, and sawmill complete, located at Sparks, also one ox and a timber cart. Levied on as the property of A. J. Parrish to satisfy a mortgage Fi. Fas. issued from the Superior Court of said county, in favor of Varn & Mathis, against said A. J. Parrish, this February 15, 1889. Also, at the same time and place, one sorrel Texas mare, about four years old. Levied on as the property of W. W. Webb to satisfy a Fiori Fascias issued from the Ordinary Court of said county in favor of Silas Tygart and John R. McCranie against said W. W. Webb. James L. Parrish, Sheriff, B. C.
