 Carl Allen Abbott, 74, of Tifton died January 14, 2005 at Beverly Health Care 
in Tifton.
 Born September 7, 1930 in Turner Co. to the late Carris Sidney and Rosa Lee 
Wheeler Abbott, he was a retired truck driver with Mayflower. He was a veteran 
of the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean Conflict, and a member of Flat 
Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Doris Brown Abbott of Tifton; two sons, Darrell 
Abbott of Tifton and Gary Abbott Enigma; brother, Ray Abbott of Albany; sister, 
Marthlyn A. Carr of Tifton; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held January 16 at 2 p.m. at Flat Creek Missionary 
Church with the Revs. Mickey Lindsey and Eddie Allen officiating.
 Interment was in Flat Creek Church Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Johnny Mack Brown, Bobby Johnson, Tony Price, Randy Carr, Ray 
Abbott, Jr., Allen Brown, Lee Brown, Jeff Brown.
 Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals of Tifton was in charge of arrangements.
