  Joseph Dennis Bailey, 52, of Tifton died August 18, 2004 at his residence.

 Born March 27, 1952 in Tifton to the late Anna Oday and John Murray Bailey, 
Sr., he was owner of Tift County Tire Co. He was a former member of the U.S. 
Army Reserve, a member of Springhill Country Club and Our Divine Saviour 
Catholic Church. He was formerly married to Gale Rescott of Tifton.

 Survivors include one son, Shane Bailey of Tifton; one daughter, Sandi Bailey 
of Tifton; two brothers, John Bailey and Danny Bailey, both of Tifton; three 
sisters, Mary Anne Dailey of Tifton, Ronnie McGill of Nashville, Rosalie Leanza 
of Albany.

 A graveside service was held August 20 at 3 p.m. at Oakridge Cemetery with 
Rev. Donnie Pridgen and Father Alphonso Gutierrez officiating.

 Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors, Tiftarea Chapel, was in charge of 
arrangements
