The Berrien Press-- John Carroll Barber, 58, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of 
Nashville, died June 24, 2003 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
 Born Aug. 17, 1944 in Tift Co., he was the son of the late Carroll Floyd and 
Elma Louise Harper Barber. He was employed with Food Lion in Raleigh.
 Survivors include two sons, Tony Barber of Griffin and Tim Barber of 
Moultrie; one brother, Holt Barber of West Berrien; several grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held June 29 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. Musical selections included "Amazing 
Grace" and "Go Rest High on THat Mountain."
 Interment was in Vickers Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Darrel Harper, Chris Harper, Jesse Harper, Matthew McKenzie, 
James Barber, Justin Wood.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
