 Anne Bartholomew, 79, of Nashville died April 4, 2011 at her residence.
 Born July 31, 1931, in Dublin to the late Lonnie and Jewell Huffman Waller, 
she was a homemaker and retired curriculum director with the Berrien County 
Board of Education and member of Berrien County Retired Educators and Delta 
Kappa Gamma. She was also a member of Nashville United Methodist Church. She is 
preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Richard “Dick” Bennett, Jr. and Dr. J
John Richard Bartholomew.
 Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and James Griner of 
Nashville and Donna and Walter Clary of Valdosta; brother, Sonny Waller of 
Augusta; granddaughter, Catherine (Stephen) Ikard, Little Rock, ARK; step-daughters,
Sarah Bartholomew, Valdosta, Beth Olsen, Brentwood, TN, two nieces, Natalie Selah,
Sarah Ellen (Greg) Foster; step
daughters, Sarah Bartholomew, Valdosta, Beth Olsen, Brentwood, TN, two nieces, 
Natalie Selah, Sarah Ellen (Greg) Foster; step-grandsons, Jarrod (Tisha) Griner 
and Morgan Olsen; step-granddaughter, Julie (Casey) Mattox; brother-in-law, J
Jack Bennett.
 Funeral services were held April 6 at 4 p.m. at Nashville United Methodist 
Church with the Revs. Russ Elkins and Danny Ray officiating. Sarah Ellen Foster 
sang “When We All Get to Heaven,” accompanied by Renee Gaskins.
 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Day Taylor, Michael Bochenko, Greg Foster, Bob Ellis, Thomas Cla
Clayton, Jarrod Griner.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
