 David Kurt Bayreuther, 56, of Houston, TX, died July 9, 2013, in Beaumont, TX 
after a short journey with cancer.
 He was born January 23, 1957, in Albany, GA. A truck driver and a veteran of 
the United States Air Force, he loved reading, writing, poetry, and horses. He 
also had a special love for gardening. The last two months of his life, two of 
his poems were published in the Challenge Magazine for Truckers. He was preceded 
in death by his mother, Laura Hazel Jones, and grandparents, R.C. and Juanita 
Jones.
 Survivors include four children, Jimmy Dupree, Justin Bayreuther, Lacy 
Bayreuther, and Nathan Bayreuther; seven grandchildren, Hunter Dupree, Zoe 
Bayreuther, Ava Bayreuther, Zaleigh Bayreuther, and Joslynn Bayreuther; brother, 
J.R. Carnell; two sisters, Cindy Conger Harper and Belinda Bayreuther Breaux; 
and lifelong family friend, Dolly Dupree.
 Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the home of Robert and 
Belinda Breaux with burial services at a later date at Vickers Cemetery in 
Nashville, GA.
 Claybar Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
