David Kurt Bayreuther, 56, of Houston, TX, died July 9, 2013, at his sister’s 
house in Beaumont, TX after a long battle with cancer.
 He is survived by four children, Jimmy Dupree of Yokum, TX, Justin Bayreuther 
of Houston, TX, Lacey (Bryan) Agan and Nathan Bayreuther, both of Austin, TX; 
seven grandchildren, Hunter Cole Dupree, Madilynne Love Agan, Zaidh Gabrial 
Bayreuther, Zoe Jayde Bayreuther, Joslynne Nicole Leigh Bayreuther, Ava Leigh 
Bayreuther, and Audrey Rose Agan, who is due around December 31, 2014; two 
sisters, Cynthia Conger Harper and Belinda Bayreuther Breaux; brother, J.T. 
Carnell.
 The family honored his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held 
Saturday, November 22 at 2 p.m. in Vickers Cemetery. His ashes will be placed 
next to his mother, Laura Hazel Jones, who died July 5, 2012. Also buried in the 
family plot are his grandparents, R.C. and Juanita Jones, and his great-
grandparents, Charlie and Judith Thomas.
Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
