  Ada Beauchamp, 85, of Nashville died Monday, September 14, 2015, at Tift 
Regional Medical Center.
 She was born April 15, 1930, in Brooks County to the late Vonnie Lee and Beulah 
Elizabeth Newsome Mitchell. She retired as a nursing assistant and surgical tech 
for Dr. Frank Carter and Purchasing agent for Adel Memorial Hospital. 
 She attended the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in 
death by her son-in-law, Virgil Mathis; grandson, Chris Mathis, and brother, 
Riley Lee Mitchell.
 She is survived by her daughter, Mary Mathis of Nashville; son, Bobby Sutton of 
Nashville; two brothers, Garland Mitchell and Brooks Mitchell, both of 
Nashville; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and five great-great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 16, at 11 a.m. at Poplar 
Spring missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Dukes, III and Rev. Junior 
Swain officiating.
 Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
