 Curtis Ray "Curt" Beck, Jr. 34, of Ray City died August 7, 2003 at Colquitt 
Regional Medical Center.
 Born August 19, 1968 in Lowndes Co. to Curtis Ray Beck of Kingsland and 
Virginia Beck-Carter of Nashville, he was a roofing fabricator with Weaver and 
Son Contracting Company and a member of Little Block Holiness Church.
 Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two sons, Clint Beck and 
Preston Beck, both of Lakeland; maternal grandparents, Leroy and Lillian 
Carter of Nashville; two brothers, Andy Beck of Lawrenceburg, TN and Logan 
Beck of Jacksonville, FL.
 Funeral services were held Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Ray 
City with the Revs. Lee Graham, Bob Dale Royals and Hansel Paschal 
officiating. Sandra Roberson, Tina Register, Sharon Daniels and Lawton Graham 
provided selected music.
 Interment was in Beaver Dam Cemetery.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
