Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville. The Rev. Jackie Connell, the Rev. Bobby Fussell and the Rev. Johnny Guy will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today at Lovein Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 tonight. Born April 16, 1918, in Berrien County, Mrs. Bennett was the daughter of James Harvey Gray and Ella West, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Retha Bennett. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband, the Rev. Olem Bennett of Enigma; a daughter and a son-in-law, Waunell and Garvie Nichols of Enigma; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary Bennett of Douglas, Ronald and Ruth Bennett of Nashville and Laverne and Peggy Bennett of Enigma; one sister, Betty Ellis of Tifton; three brothers, Luther Gray of Tifton, Carroll Gray of Cullman, Ala., and Gene Gray of Enigma; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
