  Barbara Skinner Bennett, 60, of Nashville died October 4, 2012, at South Ge
Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness.
 She was born December 20, 1951, in Hahira to the late Tally Lewis and Goalie B
Brogdon Skinner. She was Baptist by faith.
 Survivors include her husband, David Hendrix of Nashville; five daughters and 
three sons-in-law, Wannell and Bill Merritt of Waycross, Tina Bennett and 
Wesley Gillard of Millwood, Carolyn and Carlton Cotney of Nashville, Tiffany 
Hendrix and Crystal Hendrix; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jody Roberson 
and Waylon and April Roberson; four grandchildren, Willie Merritt, III, Timothy 
Merritt, Kaylee Merritt, William Hunter Roberson, 11 additional grandchildren, 
four great-grandchildren; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Frances and 
Charles Overstreet, Peggy and Leon Gray, Marilyn Arnold, Charlene and Ricky 
Odom, Brenda and Bobby Moore, all of Nashville; two brothers and sisters-in-law,
Carl and Angie Skinner and Larry and 
law, Carl and Angie Skinner and Larry and Chelle Skinner, all of Nashville; a numb
number of nieces and nephews; a special puppy, Pickles.
 Burial followed at Guthrie Cemetery.
