Walter Jackson "Jack" Bennett Jr., 51, of Nashville, died Thursday, July 23, 
2009, at his residence. He was born July 25, 1957, in Cook County to the late 
Walter Jackson "Buddy" Bennett and the late Thelma Taylor Bennett. He was a 
cable locator for Windstream/Unibar. He was an avid fisherman and loved working 
in the yard. He was a member of Flat Creek Church.He is survived by his wife, 
Susan Bostic Bennett of Nashville; a daughter, Emily Laura Bennett of Adel; two 
sons, Matthew (Kala) Bennett of Adel and Mitchell Bennett of Adel; a sister, 
Paula (Bobby) Shierling of Adel; a brother, J.G. (Debra) Bennett of Adel; a 
brother-in-law, Larry Bostic of Nashville; and four puppies, Rudy, Bugzy, 
Cricket and Ms. Priss. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009, 
in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey, the Rev. Ike 
Jefferson, the Rev. Gary James and the Rev. Clarence Luke. Mike Rictchie 
sang "Why Me, Lord" and "Amazing Grace." "What a Wonderful Morning" by New 
Tradition was played on CD. Interment will follow in Fellowship 
Cemetery. "Amazing Grace" and "Victory in Jesus" were sung at the gravesite. 
Visitation is Saturday after 3 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 7-9 
p.m.  Pallbearers were Will Stodgill, Johnny Holbrook, John Reynolds, Josh 
Taylor, Jody Futch, Ronnie Briones, Terrell Sumner, Tom Ostermyer, Reece 
Walker, Mike Vaughn. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
