 Donald Bobby Billings, 50, of Alapaha died March 3, 2013, at Tift Regional 
Medical Center.
 Born November 3, 1962, in Hialeah, FL to the late James Soloman and Mary 
Frances Smith Napier Billings, he graduated from Tift County High School in 
1980 and later attended Moultrie Technical school where he studied drafting. He 
operated his own construction company, Bobby Billings Construction. He was an 
avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved animals and enjoyed cow 
shows. He attended First Baptist Church of Tifton. He was also preceded in 
death by his stepfather, Kenneth Edward Napier, and sister, Julie Billings 
McClung who died in 2012.
 Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, DeeDee and Jason Gershon and Tina 
and Mark Garrick, all of Enigma; two grandchildren, Dalton and Dixon Billings; 
two nephews, Benji Gershon and Cody Garrick; niece, Amber Garrick and her 
fiance’ Tyler Edwards; his significant other, Paula McQuaig and her sons, 
Fisher McQuaig and Paul McQuaig, all of Ocilla.
 Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on March 5 in the chapel of Albritton-
Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Rev. Ricky Wells officiating.
 Burial followed in Oakridge Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Harlo Lovett, John Bowers, Dennis Shepard, Wade Crumley, 
Brian Rowland, Brandon White.
 Honorary pallbearers were Winston Brogdon, Arnold Brogdon, William Brogdon, 
Gary Dorminey, Carl Mathis Dixon, Chris Corken, Bill Bowen, Ricky Williams.
 Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
