 Lurlie Christine Bowling, 83, of Nashville died July 15, 2011 at Tift Regional Me
Medical Center in Tifton, GA.
She was born September 10, 1927 to the late Wilson and Bertha Bartley Owens.
 Survivors include her companion of 40 years, Wendell Richwine of Nashville; 
son, Roger Lee Bowling and his fiance, Katherine Nash of Ray City; daughter and 
son-in-law, Anna Sue and Lewis Griffin of Moultrie; grandchildren, Amy Harville 
of ILL., Mike Bowling of ILL, Mark Bowling of Ray City, Terry Robinette and his 
fiance, Nicole Paust of Nashville, Edward and Carol Robinette of Nashville, 
Johnny and Chelli Robinette of Nashville, Rodney and Candy Stone of Nashville, 
Sherri Mayhorn and her fiance, Danny Francis of Phelps, KY, and Christopher and 
Santana Smith of Phelps, KY; 25 great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Burma Robinette;
brother, Buddy Owens; sister, Sylvia Owens, and great
grandchildren.

Joshua Robinette.
 Funeral services were held July 18 at 4 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with the 
Revs. R. J. Bennett and James “Shot” Sellars officiating.
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
