 Jordan C. "J.C." Boyd, 64, of Tifton died November 16, 2004 at Tift Regional 
Medical Center in Tifton.

 Born November 4, 1940 in Berrien County to Vertture Boyd of Ocilla and the 
late Bo Boyd, he was employed in maintenance at Pilot Travel Center. He was 
married to the late Kathleen Boyd.

 Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two daughters, Evie May Boyd of 
Tifton and Linda Stewart of Ashburn; two sisters, Charlotte Dillard of Tifton 
and Mary Boyd of Jacksonville, FL; five brothers, W.J. Boyd, Raiford Conger and 
Henry Boyd, all of Nashville; Gary Boyd of Tifton, Ricky Boyd of Ft. 
Lauderdale, FL; four grandchildren.

 A graveside service was held on Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. at Empire Cemetery with 
Rev. Chris Newbern officiating. Musical selections included. "The Old Rugged 
Cross" and "Go Rest High On That mountain."

 Pallbearers were W.J. Boyd, Wesley Boyd, John Boyer, Steve Stone, Raiford 
Conger, Gary Boyd.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
