 Betty Boyd, 69, of Nashville died February 23, 2005 at her residence.
 Born December 12, 1935 in Jackson County to the late Lee John and Luelutisha 
Wade Burroughs, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a 
secretary for construction industries.
 Survivors include her husband, Rob Boyd of Nashville; son, Robert W. Boyd of 
Nashville; four sisters, Alice Tanner of Tifton, Bennie Hutchinson of Coeur 
D'Alene, ID, Irene Kent of Nashville, Ruth Williams of TN; brother, Allen 
Vernon Burroughs of Americus; three grandchildren, one step-grandson.
 Funeral services were held February 25 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Mickey Lindsey and Skip Van Nus officiating.
 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Allen Tanner, Paul Tanner, John Tanner, Doug Harper, Mike 
Boyd, Scott Burrough, Tim Hughes.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
