 Velma Boyd, 81, of Nashville died August 27, 2005 at Memorial Hospital of Adel.
 Born October 4, 1923 in Berrien County to the late Perry and Fannie Mathis 
Lewis, she was a homemaker and member of Ruth Forrester Missionary Baptist 
Church. She was married to the late Robert Lee Boyd.
 Survivors include two sons, Linson Forte and Winston Boyd, both of Nashville; 
four grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held August 30 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral with Rev. Jim Williams officiating.
 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Nicholas Gaskins, Bobby Powell, R.H. Warren, Bobby Gelatt.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
