   Rual Boyd, 76, died June 27, 2009, in Fort Pierce, FL. Born in Berrien Co. to

to the late Ancil G. and Mary R. Boyd of Nashville, he lived in Berrien Co. until 
until 1947. He then moved to Pahokee, FL and resided there until 1954 when he moved

moved to Ft. Pierce, FL where he made his home until the time of his death. He was a

was a farm equipment mechanic and retired from Sunrise Tractor Co. in Ft. Pierce
Pierce. At the time of his retirement, he opened a lawn mower repair shop. He was a

was a talented guitarist and singer and enjoyed playing and singing in churches and
nu
and nursing homes. He was married to the late Virginia "Jenny" Farmer Boyd.
  Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda Boyd of Ft. Pierce; son, Roy Boyd of Shall
Shallott, NC; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; one brother, Clare
Clarence Boyd of Okeechobee, FL; four sisters, Dorothy Cook, Mildred Thomas, Annie
Annie Brewster, Betty Nunes, all of Nashville. He is preceded in death by one son, 
son, Rodger Boyd and one grandson, Billy Aaron Boyd.
  Funeral services were held July 2 at 11 a.m. at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel in F
in Ft. Pierce with Pastors Tommy Yonk and Kenneth Norman, both of Ft. Pierce, and 
and Tim Quacken Box, Sr., of Brundidge, AL officiating. Pastor Norman sang "THe
Anch
Anchor Holds."
  Interment was in Riverview Memorial Park.
  Pallbearers were Shawn Hazelieg, Daniel Rual McMillan, Joe Herzog, Alberto Ru
Ruiz, Stevie Paul Boyd, Mike Hill.
  Haisley Funeral Home of Ft. Pierce was in charge of arrangements.
