  Robert Marion "Rob" Boyd, 80, of Nashville, passed away Friday, October 23, 
2009, at his place of residence. He was born September 8, 1929 in Berrien 
County to the late William A. Boyd and Louise Bellflower Boyd. He was a retired 
bulk fuel driver with BP Oil. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ann 
Burroughs who died February 23, 2005. He was an Army veteran and served in the 
Korean conflict. He is survived by a son, Robert Wade Boyd, Nashville; five 
grandchildren, Andrea Evans, Kayla Boyd, Andy Boyd, Anthony Boyd, and Phillip 
Boyd; step-grandson, James Sprinkle; four sisters, Eloise Hughes, Nashville, 
Wylene Harper, Nashville, Arlene Franks, Nashville, Mildred Wortham, Fort 
Valley; two brothers: Talmadge Boyd, Valdosta, Huey Boyd, Willacoochee. A 
graveside funeral service will be held Monday, October 26, 2009, at 2 p.m., the 
Rev. Junior Swain presiding, with burial in Westview Cemetery. Visitation is 
Sunday, 7-9 PM at Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville
 Pallbearers were Tim Hughes, Mike Boyd, Doug Harper, Terry Harper, James Ev
Evans, Jim Testerman.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
