 Travis Boyd, 68, of Waycross died April 14, 2009 at Satilla Regional Medical Ce
Center after a short illness.
 He was born in Nashville to the late Mathew and Ruth Grover Boyd and lived in W
Waycross for most of his life. He was a supervisor at Clayton Homes for many y
years before he become disabled in 1996. He was a member of Carswell Avenue C
Christian Church and enjoyed his hobbies of racing, hunting and fishing.
 On June 28, 1959 he married his wife, Cindy Crawford Boyd, Waycross; from this 
marriage of nearly 50 years are two children, Angela "Angie" Boyd Smith 
(husband, Larry), Macon, Travis Bradley Boyd (wife, Stephanie), Blackshear; 
five grandchildren, Brent Smith, Macon, Brooke Smith, Statesboro, Mathew Boyd 
and Kamren Boyd, both of Blackshear, Kristina Smith Taylor, Blackshear. Also 
surviving are sister, Debra "Jo" Hersey (husband, Gary), Blackshear, brother-in-law,
Bill Crawford (wife, Freddie), Watkinsonville, Blackshear, Faye Page (husband, Andy)
Hendersonville, TN, two aunts, Lula Grover, Waycross, Louise Boyd, Nashville.
numerous special nieces, nephews and other relatives.
 A funeral service was held April 16 at 3 p.m. at the Miles
law, Bill Crawford (wife, Freddie), Watkinsonville, Blackshear, Faye Page (
(husband, Andy) Hendersonville, TN, two aunts, Lula Grover, Waycross, Louise B
Boyd, Nashville. numerous special nieces, nephews and other relatives.
 A funeral service was held April 16 at 3 p.m. at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home C
Chapel. Burial followed in Kettle Creek Cemetery.
 Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
