 Vidareen Bray, 85, of Alapaha, passed away Jan. 12, 2009, at Berrien Nursing 
Center. 
She was born on June 13, 1923, in Berrien County to the late William 
Thomas “Bud” and Mattie Ora McClellan Vickers. She was a homemaker and retired 
machinist with Hav-A-Tampa Cigar Co. and was a member of Oak Park Baptist 
Church in Tampa, Fla. She was the widow of Joe Bray. She is survived by one 
sister, Bonnie Gaskins of Valdosta; two brothers, Tharon Vickers and Darward 
Vickers, both of Alapaha. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmon 
Vickers and Wilbur Vickers; and two sisters, Wilma Bostic and Ann Harris. 
Funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. at New Griffin 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Sim Youngblood, the Rev. Leonard Conger and the 
Rev. Junior Swain officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Paron Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Darren Harris, Chad Vickers, David Bostic, Randall Vickers, 
Archie Gaskins, Ron Gaskins. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. today.. 
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
