Born February 7, 1925 in White County, AR to the late William Raymond and Zelma Walker Bright, he was a retired welder with Blue Bird Body Company in Fort Valley and was an Army veteran of WWII. Survivors include three daughters, Janel Rose of Fayetteville, NC, Wanda Ware of Sparks, Evetta "Mullis" Griffin of Nashville; one son, Raymond Bright of Byron; two sisters, Nellie Freeman of Judsonia, AR and Violet Thrailkill of Conway, AR; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held August 15 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Dean officiating. "He Walked on Water" and "I'll Fly Away" were played on CD. Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Jason Mullis, Leroy Griffin, Richard Ware, Jimmy Rodgers, Michael Allen, Kameron Allen. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
