Born April 16, 1923, in Nashville to the late Miles and Mary Nix, she lived most of her life in Berrien County. She was a homemaker and member of Ray City Freewill Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Olin Bristol; son, Roger Bristol; daughter, Ruby Bristol Cooper; grandson, Dracey Bristol; granddaughter, Lynn Bristol Wilkerson and great-grandson, Joel LaDon W Wilkerson. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Dorothy Bristol of Adel; son-in-law, Johnny Cooper of Ray City' four grandchildren and their spouses, Allan and Tammy Bristol of Adel, Michael and Daphinne Cooper and Chris and Taffey Bristol all of Ray City and Steven and Erica Cooper of Valdosta; 17 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held August 9 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Ray Cit City with the Revs. Donnie Sloan and Marty McCranie officiating. Charles Goff, Bil Bill Royals and Stephanie McCranie sang "I Won't Have to Worry Anymore," "I Wan Want Us to Be Together in Heaven," and "Lily in The Valley." Interment was in Beaver Dam Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steven Cooper, Michael Cooper, Allan Bristol, Chris Bristol, D Darren Cooper, Derrick Cooper. Boone Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
