 Sherrod L. Brogdon, 74, Nashville died June 18, 1999 in Berrien County 
Hospital.
 Born March 7, 1925 in Berrien Co. to the late June and Eunice McGlashen 
Brogdon. He was a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Odom Brogdon of Nashville, one daughter, 
Brenda Mercer of Athens; two sons, Gerald W. "Jerry" Brogdon of Alapaha and 
Phillip Brogdon of Calhoun; one sister, Ethelee Shealy of Nashville; one 
brother, L. J. Brogdon of Valdosta; four grandchildren; one great grandchild.
 Funeral services were held June 19 at 2 p.m. at Poplar Springs Missionary 
Baptist Church with the Revs. Junior Swain, Dan Johnson and Jesse Stalvey 
officiating. 
 Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
  Active pallbearers were Barry Hall, Scott Sellars, Roger Odom, Ira Shealy, 
Randy Brown, Eddie Brown.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
