The Berrien Press -- Odell Outlaw Brogdon, 89, of Nashville died April 5, 2006 
at Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center.
 Born July 19, 1916 in Berrien County to the late Roland and Jane Robinson 
Walker, she was a homemaker and member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. 
She was married to the late Robert Brogdon and the late Melvin Outlaw. She was 
also preceded in death by a son, Finous J. Outlaw, a stepson, Robert Lee 
Brogdon, one sister, and six brothers.
 Survivors include two step-daughters, Martha (Franklin) Kucrea and Annie Lee 
Brogdon, both of Silverhill, AL; three sons, Eston (Nancy) Outlaw and Gary 
(Montine) Outlaw, both of Nashville, and Roland E. "Reo" (Melanie) Outlaw of 
Willacoochee; two sisters, Maomi Parrish of Ft. Myers, FL and Marjorie Sharpe 
of Hahira; three brothers, R.A. Walkers of Ft. Myers, Vernon Walker of Bryon, 
Clinton Walker of Greenville, SC; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 
one great-great-grandchild.
 Funeral services were held April 8 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Revs. Junior  Swain and Steve Pickern officiating. Jay Pickern 
sang "Because He Lives."
 Interment was in Empire Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Randy Rowan, Wayne Hendley, David Hendley, Keith 
Lewis, Junior Cooper, John Webb, Mike Duggan, Earl Dean Sharpe
 Honorary pallbearers were Vernon Davis, George Rowan, Jr., Troy Griner, James 
Griner, Carlos Vickers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
