The Berrien Press -- Barbara Ann Brogdon, 51, of Nashville died April 19, 2007 
at her residence.
 Born August 7, 1955 in Ben Hill County, she was the daughter of the late John 
Joseph and Mildred Virginia Chaney Blackstock. She was a homemaker.
 Survivors include her husband, Billy Brogdon of Nashville; one daughter, Gina 
Adams of Boston; two sons, Billy Brogdon, Jr. of Nashville and Andy Vossler of 
New York, NY; five stepchildren, Penny Bullard of Augusta, Mike Brogdon of 
Quitman, Jody Brogdon of Atlanta, Richard Brogdon of Augusta, William Brogdon 
of New Orleans, LA; three sisters, Betty Pitts, Kay Floyd, and Carolyn Bryan, 
all of Fitzgerald; eight grandchildren, Deanna Adams, Amber Adams, Gracie 
Adams, Clarence Adams, Tristen Brogdon, Caylie Brogdon, Logan Vossler, Gabby 
Vossler. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Dougherty and a 
brother, J.C. Blackstock.
 Funeral services were held April 21 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Revs. James Osborne and Kenny Griffin officiating. Nikki Hand 
sang "When the Roses Bloom." Taped selections included "Go Rest High on that 
Mountain," "When I Get Where I'm Going," and "Holes in the Floor of Heaven."
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Active pallbearers included Donny Searcy, Tony Boyd, Jimmy Lee Vowell, Gene 
Brogdon, Ronald Hall, Buck Hall.
 Honorary pallbearers included Mike Hand, Randy Bailey, Butch Adams, Chad 
Woody, Brad Mallory, and James Lightsey.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
