Willine was born on July 20, 1912, near Lyons in Toombs County, Ga., to Dani Daniel "Homer" and Flora Odom Anderson. She was the first of five children and the the only daughter. Her family lived in Toombs County in Savannah and finally sett settled near Nashville where they earned their living farming. On Sept. 9, 1933, Willine married Clarence Brogdon at Ray City, Ga. They made the their home in Berrien County where Clarence farmed and Willine was a homemaker. The They had one daughter, Evelyn, born in 1934. In 1943, Willine was widowed. She soon moved to Savannah where she trained in a a beauty shop with her cousin to become a hair dresser. After four years in Sa Savannah, she moved back to Nashville where she worked for many years as a be beautician. She helped with the care of a niece and nephew and cared for both of of her parents until their deaths. Willine moved to the Retreat in Nashville in 20 2000 and was moved to the Berrien County Nursing Home in 2005. Willine was an active member of Nashville United Methodist Church. She was a g good friend to all and will be sadly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Neumas, Jim, Garthel, and Wilburn Anderson; her daughter, Evelyn, two nieces and a nephew. She is survived by her granddaughter, Cynthia (David) Hoffman of Gering, Neb.; grandson, Jeff (Gayle) Grimm of Alameda, Calif.; great-grandsons, Eric and Adam Hoffman; great-granddaughters, Emily and Amy Grimm; sister-in-law, Kathleen Anders Anderson of Nashville; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, in the chape chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ Elkins officiating. Music on CD in CD included "How Great Thou Art" and "Whispering Hope." Interment will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held Satu Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of services. Pallbearers were Burt Anderson, Allen Anderson, Danny Anderson, David Hoffman, Eri Eric Hoffman, Jeff Grimm. Memorials are requested to the Nashville United Methodist Church.
