Born Nov. 8, 1915, in Berrien County to the late Lewis and Josie Snipes B Bradford, she was a homemaker and a retired quality control clerk with N Nashville Mills and member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. She was the w widow of Leon Brogdon who died in 2002. Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle Lee and Velma Lewis, both of Nashville; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Jones. Funeral services were held Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Phillip Simmons and Junior Swain officiating. Emmet Gibbs sang grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Jones. Emmet Gibbs sang “O Come Angel Band,” Frances Roland sang “I Have Made It,” and the Paffords Paffords sang “What a Day That Will Be” and “Amazing Grace.” Linda Hall served as as pianist. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Terry Bradford, Ran West, Talmadge Bradford, Buddy Exum, L Lonnie Bradford, Tommy Lee. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
