 Mae McLeod Jackson Brogdon, 78, of Lenox died December 25, 2013, at her 
residence following an extended illness.
 She was born September 23, 1935, to the late Willie B. and Beatrice Culpepper 
McLeod in Echols County. She was a homemaker, a wonderful mother caring for and 
loving her family. She was a member of Nashville Holiness Church.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George 
Brogdon; son Bobby Jackson; sister, Joyce Phillips.
 Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Shelia Jackson of Fernandina Beach, 
FL, Ellie Jackson of Adel, Sandra and Randy Kelley of Sparks; son, George Eddie 
Brogdon, II of Lenox; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister and 
brother-in-law, Susan and jack justice of Lake Paark; brothers and sisters-in-
law, Harold and Tina McLeod and Ray and Brenda McLeod, all of Tifton; a number 
of nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. December 27 at Nashville Holiness Church.
 Interment was in Guthrie Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
