  Kathy L. Brooker, 53, of Nashville died August 25, 2006 at her residence.
  Born June 19, 1953 in Cook County to W. C. Crosby of Nashville and the late 
Annie Stone Crosby, she was a cashier at convenience stores for several years.
  Survivors, in addition to her father, include her husband, Buddy Brooker of 
Nashville; sons and daughter-in-law, Bo and Linda Brooks and Derek Brooker of 
Nashville; daughters and son-in-law, LeAnn Brooker, Julie Brooker, Jesseca and 
Tony Cumbus, all of Nashville and Angel Brooker of Philadelphia, PA; 
stepmother, Dorothy Crosby of Nashville and Thomas Crosby of Mississippi, 16 
grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held August 29 at 11 a.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of 
Music Funeral Home with burial in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
  Music Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
