  Robert Wilson “Bobby” Brooks, 63, of Nashville died Monday, March 30, 2015, at 
his residence.
 He was born December 1, 1951, in Irwin County to the late Robert L. and Mary 
Hudson Brooke. He was a retired service manager for Xtra Luke and worked for 
several years with Brooks Auto Parts. He was a member of the Berrien Bass 
Masters Club and of the Baptist faith.
 He is survived by his wife, Joyce Marie “Jodi” Hogan Brooks of Nashville; four 
sons, Robbie (Tammy) Brooks of Nashville, Tony (Tanya) Taylor, of Hahira, 
Michael (Kitty) Taylor of Crawfordville, FL and Shawn (Erin) Taylor of Palm 
Coast, FL; daughter, Cindy Broods (Allen Padgett) of Nashville; sister, Peggy 
Webb (Al Rook) of Salem, AR; brother, Sonny (Brenda) Swiger of Salem, AR; 18 
grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Hughes and the Rev. Gary Caldwell officiating. 
Music will include “Go Rest High on That Mountain,” “Amazing Grace,” and “The 
Old Violin.”
 Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers will be Darrell Kilpatrick, Roger Meeks, Daniel Ford, Greg 
Wetherington, Gary Cooksey, Anthony Heath, Henry Ford and John Carroll.
 Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Morton, George Brogdon, Larry Wilson, 
Freddie Hughes, Scott Dillard and Shawn Lane.
 Visitation is Thursday, April 2 from 7-9 p.m.
