She was born April 6, 1932, in Berrien County to the late Selem La Rue and Mary Magaline Rutherford Sellars. She was a homemaker and had owned Betty’s Grocery Story for a number of years. She was a member of Flat Creek Church. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Crawford of Atlanta; two sons, Johnny (Barbara)Browning of Alapaha and Jerry (Kris) Browning of Alapaha; step- daughters, Carolyn (Billy) Hall of Douglas and Marilyn (Charlie) Barker of Ray City; sister, Thelda Mae McClellan of Alapaha; brother, Buddy Sellars of Nashville; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 27 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
