He was born on Sept. 25, 1979, in Duval County, Fla., to Carol Suzanne Woodard Brown and the late William Harrison Brown. He was a commercial tent salesman with Creative Tents International located in Weed, Calif.; member of Nashville United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Valdosta State University Class of 2004. He was preceded in death by his father, William Harrison “Butch” Brown, who died in 1997. He is survived by his mother, Carol Brown of Nashville, Ga., and Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Blake Brown, Valdosta, Alex Brown, Nashville; two aunts, Kitty (Reed) Knight, Virginia Beach, Va., Marla (Randy) Hancock, Nashville; uncle, Robert Woodard, Jacksonville, Fla.; maternal step grandfather, Hans Brown, who died in 1997. He is survived by his mother, Carol Brown of Nashville, Ga., and Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Blake Brown, Valdosta, Alex Brown, Nashville; two aunts, Kitty (Reed) Knight, Virginia Beach, Va., Marla (Randy) Hancock, Nashville; uncle, Robert Woodard, Jacksonville, Fla.; maternal step grandfather, Hans Tanzler Tanzler Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.; and several cousins. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating. Alex Brown (guitar) and Drew Dixon (mandolin) played "Amazing Grace" and Alex sang "Imagine." Little Brown Peach, comprised of Alex Brown, Blake Brown and Drew Dixon, played and sang "Forever Young." Interment will be in Westview Cemetery. Drew Dixon sang "Winding Road," accompanying himself on the mandolin. Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers were Jim Paulk, Brandon Bennett, Brandon McMillan, Wheat Kirbo, Ben Cook, JoJo Hester, Jim Marth, Shane Owen. Memorials are requested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arr arrangements.
