Born February 17, 1920, in Berrien County to the late Thomas Baker and Eunie Malissie Malissie Fort Bryan, he was a deacon and member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, a r retired farmer and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his w wife, Inez Brown Bryan. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Christine and Glenn Hardy, Ruth and J.D. Hall, Susie and Melvin Hines and Alice and Byron Saylor all of Tifton, T.E. and Ginger Bryan of Dalton, Charles and Christine Bryan and Billy and Robin Bryan all of Lenox, Grady Jr. and Jeanne Bryan of Sparks, Kathy and Jim Williams of Greenville, SC; 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Bryan of Adel and Jack Bryan of Sparks; three sisters, Jewel Bryan and Mearle Griffin bother of Lenox, Sarah Nash of Moultrie. He was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Linda Bryan; great-grandson, J.T. Bryan; two brothers, J.C. Bryan and Odis Bryan; thre three sisters, Maudie Sellers, Mattie Harrell and Nannie Ruth Crum. Funeral services will be held December 5 at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Chu Church with the Revs. Mike Bennett and David Biggers and Mr. John Reed off officiating. Special musical selections will include "Amazing Grace," "Beulah Lan Land" and "Victory in Jesus." Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Eric Hall, Matthew Bryan, Church Bryan, Scott Hardy, Christopher Williams, M Michael Hardy, T.J. Hines, Zach Watson will serve as pallbearers. Boone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
