 Lawton Bryant, 86, of Alapaha died October 12, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of 
Adel, GA.
  Born Nov. 12, 1919 in Cook County to the late John Walter and Alice Grimes 
Bryant, he was a retired lineman with Florida Power Co. He was an Army 
paratrooper during WWII and was married to the late Irene Westberry Bryant.
  Survivors include special friends, Randy and Susan Warren and Amanda Cumbess, 
all of Nashville; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ora Mae and A.J. Bristol 
of Nashville and Ora Lee Gibbs of Hoboken; several nieces and nephews. He was 
preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Bryant.
  In keeping with Mr. Bryant's wishes, he was cremated. No service was held.
  Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
