NASHVILLE - Betty Rose Buerger, 76, of Nashville died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 
at Berrien Nursing Center. The family will honor her request for cremation. A 
memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Lovein Funeral Home with the 
Rev. Wayne Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. Buerger was born July 22, 1934 in Berrien County to the late Jacob Artis 
Purvis and Ella Inez Fender. She was a homemaker and a retired bank teller. 
She was a member of Ray City United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Terry Hughes of 
Valdosta; a brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Della Purvis of Ray City; a 
granddaughter, Alexis Hughes; two nephews, Scott Purvis and Kevin Purvis; a 
great-nephew, Jake Purvis; and a great-niece, Michaela Purvis.
Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
