  Densil Calhoun, 64 of Nashville passed away Saturday March 22, 2008, at the 
VA Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. He was born on Jan. 18, 1944, in Lanier Co. to 
the late Dewey and Mary Brogdon Calhoun. He was a house painter and Army 
veteran. He is survived by a son, Steven (Vickey) Calhoun, Lynchburg, Va.; 
granddaughter, Skyler Calhoun; and brother, J.D. Calhoun of Nashville. He was 
preceded in death by a sister, Martha Gurganious and two brothers, Howard 
Calhoun and Rex Calhoun. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City with the Rev. 
Clarence Luke officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 8 a.m.-10:30 
p.m. —Active pallbearers were Marvin Vickers, Shane Calhoun, Tony Calhoun, Mark

Calhoun, Ray Carpino, Chris Gaither. Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville was in 
charge of the arrangements.
