She was born March 2, 1951 in Riverside, California to Mavis Hooton Harrell of Nashville and the late Franklin Harrell. Mrs. Cameron was a resident of Nashville and moved to Cookeville in 1971 and resided here for the remainder of her life as a mother and homemaker. She loved her children dearly and was very involved in their school functions and extra-curricular activities. She was a active in dancing, gardening, and crafts. She loved music and even wrote and p performed some of her own songs. In addition to her father, she was preceded in d death by an infant sister. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include son, Tim Rodgers and wife, Melissa of Thompson Station, TN; daughter, Lindsey Cameron Gross and husband Brandon of Cookeville; three grandchildren, Hunter Rodgers, Keaton Rodgers and Aubrey Rodgers; three brothers, Carl Harrell, Paul (Kathy) Harrell and Greg ( (Sherry) Harrell and sister, Heather Walker, all of Nashville. Funeral services were held December 28 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Gross officiating.
