  Michael Wayne Carns, 49, of Alapaha died July 8, 2012, at Tift Regional M
Medical Center in Tifton.
  Born July 12, 1962, to the late Wayne Cameron and Helen Josephine Murray Carns
Carns, he graduated from Tift County High School. He loved his family and was a h
hot rod and drag racing enthusiast who enjoyed working on his car.
  Survivors include his wife, Mary Frank Paulk Carns; one son, Matt Chapple of 
Alapaha; one doctor and son-in-law, Ouida Carns and Gary Veal, Jr. of Tifton; 
one brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Rose Carns of Tifton; two nephews, Rusty 
and Ross Carns; one granddaughter, Adisyn Veal.
  A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
  Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
