 Ola Browning Carpenter, 89 of Nashville, Ga., passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 
2009 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Berrien County, 
to the late John M. and Effie Lee (Everett) Browning. She is a retired 
Warehouse worker with Miami Rivet Company. She is Baptist by faith. She is 
preceded in death by her husband, Harry Carpenter. Survivors include two 
daughters, Betty Ovinnio of Nashville, Ga., Martha Brewer, Ray City; eight 
grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. 
today, Aug. 26, 2009 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with 
burial following in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour 
prior to service.  Music Funeral Services of Lakeland in charge of arrangements.
