ALAPAHA -- Wydione Carpino, 64, of Lorain, Ohio and Alapaha passed away 
Wednesday, December 3, 1997 at her daughter's residence in Lorain. She was 
born April 2, 1933 in Berrien County to Mark Luke and Mary O'Neal. She was a 
homemaker.
 She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Griffin of Cairo and Brenda Carpino 
of Lorain; one son, Ray Carpino of Alapaha and one sister, Willie Holt of 
Fitzgerald.
 Mrs. Carpino was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Carpino who died 
in 1994 and a granddaughter, Tori Diane Griffin who died in 1983.
 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke Baptist Church. 
The Rev. Bobby Fussell will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Luke 
Cemetery. Visitation is after 4 p.m., today, with the family receiving friends 
from 7-9 p.m.
 Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville is serving the Carpino family
