The Berrien Press -- Merle Rebecca Carr, 89, of Nashville died March 23, 2007 
at Berrien Nursing Center.
 Born April 11, 1917 in Cook County to the late William and Lillie Yawn 
Connell, she was a homemaker and attended Nashville First Baptist Church.
 Survivors include one daughter, Marcia Stone of Titusville, FL; one son, 
Dawson Carr of London, England; two grandchildren, Arnold Boardwine of Durham, 
NC and Amy Peterson of Port St. Lucie, FL, three great-grandchildren.
 A graveside service was held March 26 at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Cook 
County with Rev. Billy Southerland officiating.
 Selected family members served as pallbearers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
